New Pricing for Online Classes

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all in-studio classes have been suspended until further notice. We are offering a selection of online classes each week (see Class Schedule tab), and we have implemented new pricing during this time.

You can now join any of our regular, weekly online classes for either $5 or $10, whichever works best for you. Both of those options are available below, as well as on the Class Schedule tab when you choose a specific class.

Our previous, in-studio pricing options also remain active. If you have a current 5 or 10-Class Pass or an unlimited New Student Pass, you may continue to use those online if you wish. Or, you can choose to save them for when we are able to re-open the studio. (We will extend expiration dates.) Likewise, you may also purchase new 5 or 10-Class Passes, try out our $40 one-month unlimited New Student Pass (if you’re new to Firehouse Yoga), or even purchase a single online class at the in-studio drop in rate.

Our intention is to make yoga as accessible and affordable as possible to everyone during this tumultuous time.

Thank you for continuing to support local small business!

Classes Suspended Due to COVID-19

We have made the difficult decision to suspend in person, group classes for the rest of the month. We’re in uncharted territory and with the situation changing daily, we felt that this decision was best for the health and safety of our students, staff, and the community at large. We will reevaluate April and beyond based on updated information and recommendations at that time.

In the meantime, we’re going online! This weekend, we successfully tested a live video class platform and it integrated seamlessly with our current booking and check-in software. We’ll be rolling out an adjusted video class schedule starting tomorrow. Some classes will be regular, paid sessions, but we’ll also be offering some free community classes and meditation sessions through our video platform as well.

We will be contacting everyone who is currently registered for any upcoming classes. We will also continue to post updated information as it becomes available here, as well as on Facebook & Instagram.

Stay safe. Be well.

Peace,
Nicole & the entire Firehouse Yoga staff

COVID-19 Update: Starting to set up video classes

We tested out a video class  this morning, and for a first attempt, it went really well. We are being proactive in looking for ways to continue to provide yoga to the community while keeping folks safer and reducing the risk of coronavirus transmission. There will be another video class test tomorrow morning (Sunday 3/15). After that, we plan to start rolling out some virtual class options and making them available for registration.

We are continually assessing the situation and making decisions on a day by day basis. We’re in uncharted territory for sure, but our number one priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. Check here often or find us on social media for updates, and please feel free to reach out directly if you have any questions or concerns.

We’re still here.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to take every step possible to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.

For now, the studio remains open. However, we are allowing each individual teacher to decide whether to continue their own classes or put them on hold for a bit. As a co-op, we wish to honor each other’s personal situation and allow each teacher to decide what’s best for them.

As of now, most classes are still on. Staff will remain in continual contact, and the class schedule will be updated accordingly. Any changes will be announced here, as well as on social media, but always check the class registration page before signing up or dropping in, as that will be the final authority on which classes are still a go. You can find that here: https://bit.ly/2WdAIDv

If you are feeling ill, we ask that you please stay home. If you’ve already registered for class, we’re happy to either issue a refund or extend credit for a future class. As this is a changing situation and schedule interruptions are a possibility, we are also prepared to extend expiration dates on class packages if needed.

We will be cleaning the studio and sanitizing props after each class. There will also be extra sanitizing wipes at the studio for your safety and convenience. If you would be more comfortable bringing your own props along with your mat — blocks, straps, blankets, etc. — please feel free to do so.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation, make any necessary changes, and keep everyone updated.

Peace,
Nicole & the Firehouse Yoga staff

Classes Cancelled on Tuesday, October 8th

Our hearts are heavy at the passing of longtime student, Jennifer Buck. Jenni was not only one of Firehouse Yoga’s very first students and a true champion and advocate for the studio, she was also a dear friend to original owner, Molly, and to teachers on our staff.

We are cancelling classes this Tuesday evening (10/8), so that Molly can return to lead a private practice with those who knew and loved Jenni. We will also be setting up a fundraising page with the American Heart Association, so that friends of the studio who feel so inclined may make a donation in her memory. (More details to follow.)

Thank you for your understanding in regards to Tuesday evening’s classes. The regular schedule will resume next week.

Please keep Jenni’s family and friends in your thoughts at this difficult time.
