Governor DeWine Mandates Masks in Level Red Counties
Governor Mike DeWine has announced that as of 6:00 p.m. on July 8th, masks or face coverings are required in public (including all indoor places of business) in Cuyahoga County, as well as all other counties that are at a threat level red for COVID-19. As such, we are updating our mask policy, effective immediately.
In addition to teachers and staff, now all students must wear face masks in the studio for the duration of class. (Students were previously required to wear them during entry, set-up, and when leaving class but could remove them, if needed, while situated on their mats and class was in progress.) Students will be allowed to bring their own water bottle to class and take a sip or two as needed, but otherwise, masks are to remain in place the entire time students are in the building.
Simultaneous online classes will be available for each studio class, for those who don’t wish to wear a mask or are otherwise not ready to practice in the studio.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
