Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release

Slow down, tune in and bring balance into your body. This 2-hour workshop with Julie Brown will blend Yin Yoga poses and (self-administered) myofascial release techniques using aids like yoga blocks and myofascial release balls (solid rubber balls about 2.5 inches in diameter).
Yin Yoga is the practice of passive stretches held for longer stretches of time (2-5 minutes each) to help stimulate the deeper connective tissues (ligaments, fascia, tendons). Myofascial Release (MFR) is a technique that applies gentle, sustained pressure or slow controlled rolling movements while gradually increasing pressure for several moments in targeted areas of the body to facilitate the release of tension in your fascial system.
