Your donations thus far have helped Firehouse Yoga remain viable during the COVID-19 crisis. We still have a bit of catching up to do, but we also want to pay it forward.
These are challenging economic times, and like many small businesses, we’ve definitely felt the effects of the COVID-19 shutdown and loss of in-person classes at the studio. This spring, we put the call out for donations to help keep the studio afloat, and the community answered. Some donated outright, and others made donations in exchange for Nicole’s handmade cotton face masks. Because of that, we were able to keep things moving forward, paying teachers and providing free and discounted online yoga access to those in need.
While we are not completely out of the woods — particularly as we enter the summer season, which has traditionally been slower than other times of the year — we would like to express our gratitude by paying it forward. Therefore, we will continue accepting studio donations for the next few months, but we will be splitting all donations 50/50 with local non-profit organizations that specifically serve marginalized communities. Each month, we will select a different organization and highlight the work that they do. (July recipient will be announced soon.)
At the end of each month, half of all donations collected will be given to the chosen organization. The other half will help us continue to pay teachers what they’re worth, as well as subsidize free or discounted yoga for those still struggling financially during this time.
Donations can be made via PayPal using the button below.
You can also donate via Venmo (@Nicole-Lublin), the cash donation jar in the studio, or by mailing a check to:

No amount is too small, and every little bit helps. We are truly grateful for any and all assistance that you can provide. As always, please let us know how we can serve you and your yoga practice during these uncertain times.
Love and Gratitude,
